Lana is currently using her foundation in storytelling for more strategic purposes: she is now working in program management and digital strategy.

Her experience with a wide range of communications projects, writing and media production helped shape her early career. She developed and executed corporate communications strategies. She wrote articles and content for publications and websites. She wrote current affairs articles for a major daily newspaper, produced radio stories of various lengths for a community radio station, created multimedia news stories for a national web publication and produced a short documentary film. She also produced a feature length radio documentary, which enabled extensive knowledge of urban affairs and challenges facing modern cities.
